What I Learned
From my interview, I received a lot of information. I found out that even if you dropout of school, you still can succeed in life. I also learned that not everyone chooses to dropout, but because of bad decisions they made in their life they had no choice but to dropout of school. From class the other day, my classmates gave me a lot of good ideas on whom I should interview next. They suggested that I interview a teenager who dropped out of school or their friends; a student that is struggling in school now and is thinking about possibly dropping out; a social worker; an employer and their values of an employee; or a top student who is being pressured by their family to do good. From these suggestions I have decided to interview OPA (Orange Preparatory Academy) social worker, Mrs.Berry. I chose to interview her because I have a close relationship to her and i would be able to contact her to schedule an appointment for the interview. The other candidates my classmates suggested to me would take a bit longer to find but with determination I would get my word out about dropouts!
